WARNING!

You must use a Java enabled browser to solve this puzzle.

Enabling your browser is quite a simple matter, requiring only a few minutes to complete the following steps:-

Any characters you type will be placed into the puzzle at the focus cell which is outlined in red. The focus cell can be moved around the puzzle by pointing and clicking with the mouse, or by means of the arrow keys.

The program maintains the set of candidate symbols which could legally be placed in each cell. In the default mode of operation, these candidate symbols are displayed within each unsolved cell. You can remove candidate symbols from the display by pointing to them, and clicking with the mouse. When you remove the last candidate symbol from a cell, it becomes the solution for that cell. If you prefer to work without the candidate symbols, you can turn off their display by clicking Turn Assist Off button.

If you can't see a way forward, you can use the Request a Hint button. This will highlight one or more cells where further solving activity can take place. In addition a pop up Help screen will appear explaining the strategy to be used at each point. If you don't see this Help screen, you will need to  reconfigure your web browser.
